Ingredients for muffins:
2 cups Almond Flour
1/2 cup honey
3 teaspoons baking soda
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon vanilla
1/4 teaspoon sea salt
3/4 cup mashed(ripe) bananas
1/2 cup (homemade ) SCD applesauce
3 Tablespoons of coconut oil
1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans (optional)
Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Mix the, baking soda, cinnamon, salt, and honey together in a bowl. Add Almond flour last.
In a separate bowl, mix the banana, applesauce, and coconut oil. Mix the dry ingredients into the wet ingredients. Put enough batter to fill your muffing pan 3/4 of the way. If you like, you can sprinkle some topping on each muffin before baking. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes.
Ingredients for topping:
2 tablespoons honey
2 tablespoons cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
Mix together until thoroughly combined and sprinkle on each muffin before cooking.
