  • Cranberry Sauce


    Cranberry Sauce



    Ingredients:

    1 bag fresh cranberries
    1 cup water
    3/4 to 1 cup honey (or to taste)
    zest of 1 orange, grated

    Mix cranberries with 1 cup of water in a small pot. Cover and simmer for 5 to 10 minutes or until berries burst. Add the honey and stir frequently to prevent burning. Stir until the sauce thickens. Cranberry sauce will also continue to thicken as it cools.

    I use this sauce with the SCD mayo on top of chicken.
    This sauce can be refrigerated for up to one week
