Jenny McCarthy calls for rally in DC on June 4th!

AN INTERNATIONAL MOVEMENT OF PARENT-VOLUNTEERS HELPING MORE THAN 15,000 CHILDREN BEGIN BIOMEDICAL TREATMENT.

Our children are experiencing epidemics of ADD/ADHD, Asperger's, PDD-NOS, and Autism.

We believe these neurological disorders ("NDs") are environmental illnesses caused by an overload of heavy metals, live viruses, and bacteria. Proper treatment of our children, known as "biomedical intervention", is leading to recovery for thousands.

The cause of this epidemic of NDs is extremely controversial. We believe the primary causes include the tripling of vaccines given to children in the last 15 years (mercury, aluminum and live viruses); maternal toxic load and prenatal vaccines; heavy metals like mercury in our air, water, and food; and the overuse of antibiotics.

Generation Rescue is a parent-founded, parent-funded, and parent-led organization of more than 400 families. Our mission is to share the truth with parents about the cause of their child's NDs so they can focus on treatment. Read More

    Julie Matthews Shares Nourishing
    Hope Message for Autism

Parents deserve knowledge of every helpful option for children

Many children with autism exhibit demonstrable physical symptoms that go unaddressed due to a narrow focus of autism as a strictly psychiatric disorder. However, significant scientific data and overwhelming anecdotal analysis indicates a link between Autism symptoms and diet. Doing her part to spread awareness during National Autism Awareness Month, Julie takes to the airwaves and Internet to share this knowledge.

The common symptoms reported to improve with diet are: stimming, language, attention, hyperactivity, learning, fatigue, aggression, self-injurious behavior, rashes, digestion, diarrhea, constipation, gas, and more. According to the parents polled by DAN!, after chelation, diet is the most effective intervention for children on the autistic spectrum - - more that any drug, nutrient, or other biomedical therapy.

DAN! (Defeat Autism Now!) practitioners believe that diet is the most important place to begin biomedical autism intervention. As a leading advocate of diet for autism, Julie is expanding her efforts to inform parents and healthcare practitioners about nutrition intervention. People should be fully informed about their options and the need for conscious attention to the nutritional requirements of these children.

In her presentation and interviews Julie explains the scientific rationale for specials diets, the gut-brain connection, foundations of a healthy diet, ASD diet options, and particulars on getting started and evolving special diets for children with ASDs. She is rich with personal insights that help support and encourage parents to try, and persist, with nutrition intervention.

Julie's content and message conveys three strong themes:
    1. Autism is a whole body disorder - Common physiological symptoms, GI tract and brain are connected, body systems breakdown affect cognitive function and behavior.
    2. Food affects the health of body and brain- Digestion & biochemistry, brain is "downstream" from the body, nutrients required for brain function, common symptoms that can improve.
    3. Children's health can be helped through Nutrition Intervention and Special Diets - Foundations of healthy diet, special diet options, providing essential nutrients, creative approaches for implementation.
